3 social media marketing channels and techniques

In this day and age of highly prevelant technology, Social Media is a well sought-after avenue for marketing as it can spread like wildfire very easily and it is great for engaging with consumers. A social media channel like Twitter is a very good way to keep in touch with consumers and keep them in the know with short and snappy tweets. I often find out about new games and/or franchises through Twitter posts or trends that are talking about it. Including one of my most played games, Rainbow Six Siege, which i disocvered the beta for from Twitter. Twitter makes it easy to engage with the use of hashtags and tags of keywords to vastly improve discoverability of your tweet. People often use twitter by searching hashtags and so making use of them means your tweets will now be seen by these people and potentially even retweeted. A social media channel like discord is quickly becoming one of the most popular ways for developers to create engagement with fans and consumers as the app is designed to be an app for people with similar interests to hang out and talk. Discord allows for developers to create their own server, with their own rules, style it out and even post official updates to certain channels that can both notify the users and even cross-share them between servers. Keeping engagement builds up your community and personal brand. Another social media channel like Facebook is a great way to potentially involve yourself in viral marketing. Facebook’s user count is in the billions and so viral posts can spread rapidly and to a wide variety of people. Something like a well-made video gets shared around by the consumers and massively spreads awareness of your brand and product and grows your target audience exponentially. Due to this, a small company or even a private individual can go viral (Viñarás, 2022). Allowing your media to be remixed and have memes made from it will boost its popularity.
