Evaluative Measures

One of the key performance indicators used to measure marketing effectiveness is the amount of traffic that the campaign has brought in. Seeing how many people have been influenced to check out your services due to a marketing campaign can be insightful as to how effective it has been and if it is continuing to work. Another measure is the traffic-to-lead ratio, a landing page that doesn’t generate leads is useless (Edgecomb, n.d.), and so ensuring that your traffic is being converted to leads via making your page more enticing, adding social proof to enhance credibility and being more persuasive, can help generate leads from the traffic coming to you from your marketing. Another measure is customer promotion. Having customers promote your services for you is highly valuable as it can quickly spread around very far and can come off as more trustworthy as its coming from a regular person and not a developer, especially if the promotion is not sponsored/paid for by the developer. This can show how your marketing has led to customers being convinced enough to promote your services themselves and further enhance your marketing, their blog posts, streams, reviews, social media posts can all help spread the word.
